The Prop Money Great British Pound Bills Bank note of England is the pound sterling. This is the second-highest denomination of banknotes given out by the Bank of England.

The current polymer note was first issued on 20 February 2020 which bears the image of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse and the image of painter J.M.W Turner on the reverse.

It was created to replace the cotton paper note which had a portrait of economist Adam Smith, which was first given out in 2007.

Turn the note from side to side. Check the image and make sure there’s change between the ‘£’ symbol and the number value ’20’. Raise the note towards any light source.
